Blood Donation Camp 2026

 Donate Blood, Save Lives

 


 

A Blood Donation Camp was organised by Don Bosco Youth Center, Benaulim, in collaboration with GMC Blood Bank, Bambolim, and co-hosted by Luiza Rodrigues, ZP, Benaulim Constituency, on 13 September 2026 at the Don Bosco Animation Centre, Benaulim, Goa.

 



The camp was organised with the objective of encouraging voluntary blood donation and creating awareness about the importance of donating blood to help save lives. The programme commenced at 10:00 a.m.and continued until 1:00 p.m.



 

The event received an encouraging response from the community, with a total of 52 donors coming forward to donate blood. The registration process was handled by the Don Bosco Youth Center, while the haemoglobin testing, donor screening, and blood donation procedure were carried out by the medical team from GMC Blood Bank, Bambolim. The process was conducted systematically to ensure the safety and well-being of the donors.



 

The enthusiastic participation of the donors reflected the community's spirit of compassion and willingness to contribute towards a noble cause. The camp also served as an opportunity to reinforce the message that voluntary blood donation can make a significant difference to individuals requiring blood transfusions.



At the conclusion of the camp, GMC Blood Bank, Bambolim, presented certificates to the Don Bosco Youth Center, Benaulim, and the ZP, Benaulim Constituency, in recognition of their support and contribution towards the organisation of the camp.

 



The event concluded at 1:00 p.m., marking the successful completion of the Blood Donation Camp.

 On 21st June 2026 the Seraulim Parish Youth celebrated the annual youth ceremony. As part of the youth inaugural programme, a formation session was conducted by Fr. Don Bosco Youth Paschers Reunion 2026

The Don Bosco Youth Paschers Reunion was held on 17th May, 2026 at Eden Farms, bringing together sixty paschers from previous years for a day of faith, fellowship, and reflection.  The program began with the  registration and a light-hearted icebreaker that helped everyone settle in and reconnect. This was followed by a Eucharistic Celebration, where everyone came together in thanksgiving. A brief reflection period followed post the mass. The mood deepened further as paschers shared personal testimonies on faith, community, and the ways their journey with Don Bosco Youth programme had shaped them. After lunch, the paschers were split into five groups to discuss the year’s upcoming events and to elect the new Paschers committee. Youth Pasch 2026

The Youth Pasch 2026, was organized by Don Bosco Youth Services (DBYS), at Don Bosco Provincial House, Odxel, a place with an extremely scenic beauty, from 1st April to 6th April 2026. The entire team consisted of 50 participants, 08 volunteers and 6 animators who began their spiritual encounter with immense hope, expectations and enthusiasm in their hearts. Considered as a “once in a lifetime opportunity”, this Youth Pasch sought to help participants walk closely with Christ and have a deeper experience of His Passion, Death and Resurrection - an experience you might not have anywhere else. This year’s Pasch was led and animated by a combination of a truly dynamic and enthusiastic team of spiritual directors, namely, Fr. Banzelao (Vice Provincial), Organiser Fr.
