Youth of Nerur Celebrate Grandparents' Day by Planting Trees

On the occasion of Grandparents' Day on 26th July, the Youth took a meaningful initiative to honor their grandparents by planting trees and several plants in the Nerur Church campus. The celebration began with a heartfelt felicitation of the grandparents, recognizing their invaluable contribution to families and society. Following the felicitation, around 20 youngsters gathered at the chapel, bringing their own tools and working together with great enthusiasm to plant trees across the campus. The event beautifully reflected the spirit of hard work, teamwork, and environmental stewardship. Through their dedicated efforts, the youth successfully planted 66 trees along with several plants, enhancing both the greenery and the beauty of the church campus. The Burning Bush

The Burning Bush was successfully held on 12th July, 2026 at the Don Bosco Animation Centre, Benaulim, bringing together Catholic youth for a spiritually enriching day dedicated to deepening their faith, strengthening their relationship with God, and fostering fellowship with one another. The day commenced with participant registration, followed by light refreshments that provided everyone with a warm and welcoming start. This was followed by a series of lively ice-breaker activities where participants introduced themselves, interacted with one another, and took part in an energetic action song. Welcoming New Beginnings at Don Bosco Youth Centre, Shirva

On 5th June, 2026, Don Bosco Youth Centre, Shirva, joyfully welcomed the new members of the BUS (Bosco Youth Shirva) group for the first gathering of the year. Around 25 young members came together, marking the beginning of another exciting journey of faith, friendship, and service. The meeting commenced at 4:00 p.m. with a prayer, inviting God's blessings upon the new members and the activities planned for the year ahead. Guided by Fr. Kiran and Fr. Royal, the session introduced the youth to the Salesian Youth Movement, helping them understand its Vision, Mission, and the Values that inspire young people to grow as responsible and committed individuals.
