Youth of Nerur Celebrate Grandparents' Day by Planting Trees
On the occasion of Grandparents' Day on 26th July, the Youth took a meaningful initiative to honor their grandparents by planting trees and several plants in the Nerur Church campus.
The celebration began with a heartfelt felicitation of the grandparents, recognizing their invaluable contribution to families and society. Following the felicitation, around 20 youngsters gathered at the chapel, bringing their own tools and working together with great enthusiasm to plant trees across the campus.
The event beautifully reflected the spirit of hard work, teamwork, and environmental stewardship. Through their dedicated efforts, the youth successfully planted 45 trees along with several plants, enhancing both the greenery and the beauty of the church campus.
This initiative not only served as a fitting tribute to the grandparents but also demonstrated the youth's commitment to caring for God's creation. The trees planted will stand as a lasting symbol of love, gratitude, and respect for the older generation while contributing to a healthier environment for years to come.
