Youth Futsal Tournament

The Parish Youth of St. Francis Xavier Youth Team organized a Youth Futsal Tournament on 20th September 2026 at Don Bosco Panjim Turf. The tournament began at 10:30 a.m. and brought together youth from 32 parishes across Goa. Only youth participants were allowed to take part in the tournament. The games included 5-a-side futsal for boys and a 3-a-side tie-breaker for girls. Many priests also joined us and supported the event, making the tournament a joyful and meaningful gathering of the youth and the Church community.

The tournament was filled with great excitement, energy and sportsmanship. All the teams participated with enthusiasm and gave their best throughout the matches. A canteen was also set up by the organizers, serving delicious snacks and refreshments to the players, priests and visitors. Every member of the organizing team worked hard and sincerely carried out their appointed responsibilities. From managing the games and arrangements to taking care of the players and guests, everyone contributed to making the tournament run smoothly. In the boys’ final, St. Joaquim’s Chapel Youth, Borda, defeated St. Alex Parish Youth, Calangute, 1–0 to lift the championship trophy. In the girls’ competition, Parra emerged champions, while Candolim secured the runners-up position.

The success of the Futsal Tournament was the result of the hard work and dedication of the entire youth team. Our senior members worked tirelessly from the very beginning until the end, giving their 100% to ensure that everything was well organized. We are grateful to all the priests, parishes, players, sponsors, volunteers and supporters who contributed to the event. The tournament was not only a celebration of futsal but also a wonderful opportunity to strengthen friendship, unity, teamwork and faith among the youth of Goa.

 On 21st June 2026 the Seraulim Parish Youth celebrated the annual youth ceremony. As part of the youth inaugural programme, a formation session was conducted by Fr. Austin Fernandes to encourage interaction, participation, and team bonding among the youth members. The session begin with an ice-breaking game for the youth. Music was played, and the participants moved around until the music stopped, after which they were asked to form groups. Four groups were formed, each consisting of seven members. The first activity involved rearranging jumbled Bible-related words into the correct words. Marian Knights 2025: A Night of Faith and Fellowship

Marian Knights 2025 was held on October 26, 2025, at the Don Bosco Animation Center, Benaulim. A total of 15 teams from various parishes and youth groups across Goa, including YU4C, Jesus Youth, and DB Paschers, participated in this year’s edition. The event was organized by the Don Bosco Youth Services, Benaulim, with great enthusiasm and success. The evening began with a devotional prayer service led by Chiquita, invoking God’s presence and the intercession of our Blessed Mother. Fr. Edison then extended a warm welcome to all participants and highlighted the significance of the event and its Marian inspiration. Action songs led by the emcees, Galicia and Chiquita, followed, setting a lively and joyful tone for the rest of the evening. Don Bosco Youth Paschers Reunion 2026

The Don Bosco Youth Paschers Reunion was held on 17th May, 2026 at Eden Farms, bringing together sixty paschers from previous years for a day of faith, fellowship, and reflection.  The program began with the  registration and a light-hearted icebreaker that helped everyone settle in and reconnect. This was followed by a Eucharistic Celebration, where everyone came together in thanksgiving. A brief reflection period followed post the mass. The mood deepened further as paschers shared personal testimonies on faith, community, and the ways their journey with Don Bosco Youth programme had shaped them. After lunch, the paschers were split into five groups to discuss the year’s upcoming events and to elect the new Paschers committee.
