A Journey of Faith, Reflection and Fellowship

The Carmona Parish Youth embarked on a meaningful one-and-a-half-day retreat from September 13th to 14th, 2026, at the Don Bosco Animation Centre, Benaulim, with 17 enthusiastic youth participants. The spiritual journey commenced on September 13th with an energetic action song, followed by a session on prayer led by Fr. Infancio, who introduced the practical "Five Finger Prayer" method. Fr. Bernadino then animated the second session on the Holy Eucharist, explaining the five parts of the Holy Mass to encourage more meaningful participation, which the youth immediately practiced during the subsequent Holy Mass.
The afternoon began with an engaging "Fun with the Bible" group activity focused on discovering practical scripture lessons through teamwork. Transitioning into spiritual preparation, Fr. Austin led a reflective examination of conscience, inviting the youth to look within before the Sacrament of Reconciliation began at 4:30 p.m. Later in the evening, the group visited the Valankani Chapel (Hodpa Saibin) in Benaulim to pray the Holy Rosary for the preservation of creation in Goa. This was followed by a sharing session from two Don Bosco youth on the Season of Creation and its current theme, "Living Water," inspiring the Carmona youth to commit to environmental action. The night concluded joyfully with action songs and group-bonding games that strengthened friendships.

The second day, September 14th, opened with Holy Mass celebrated by Fr. Austin. After breakfast, the youth attended an informative session on "Our Relationship with God and the Holy Bible", learning about biblical covenants and the structure of the Scriptures. Fr. Austin then hosted an interactive Q&A session to clarify doubts regarding the Holy Eucharist. The retreat successfully concluded with a dynamic "Teamwork, Dreamwork" unity challenge, sending the Carmona Parish Youth home with renewed faith, stronger bonds, and grateful hearts.

 On 21st June 2026 the Seraulim Parish Youth celebrated the annual youth ceremony. As part of the youth inaugural programme, a formation session was conducted by Fr. Music was played, and the participants moved around until the music stopped, after which they were asked to form groups. Four groups were formed, each consisting of seven members. The first activity involved rearranging jumbled Bible-related words into the correct words. Don Bosco Youth Paschers Reunion 2026

The Don Bosco Youth Paschers Reunion was held on 17th May, 2026 at Eden Farms, bringing together sixty paschers from previous years for a day of faith, fellowship, and reflection.  The program began with the  registration and a light-hearted icebreaker that helped everyone settle in and reconnect. This was followed by a Eucharistic Celebration, where everyone came together in thanksgiving. A brief reflection period followed post the mass. The mood deepened further as paschers shared personal testimonies on faith, community, and the ways their journey with Don Bosco Youth programme had shaped them. After lunch, the paschers were split into five groups to discuss the year’s upcoming events and to elect the new Paschers committee. Marian Knights 2025: A Night of Faith and Fellowship

Marian Knights 2025 was held on October 26, 2025, at the Don Bosco Animation Center, Benaulim. A total of 15 teams from various parishes and youth groups across Goa, including YU4C, Jesus Youth, and DB Paschers, participated in this year’s edition. The event was organized by the Don Bosco Youth Services, Benaulim, with great enthusiasm and success. The evening began with a devotional prayer service led by Chiquita, invoking God’s presence and the intercession of our Blessed Mother. Fr. Edison then extended a warm welcome to all participants and highlighted the significance of the event and its Marian inspiration. Action songs led by the emcees, Galicia and Chiquita, followed, setting a lively and joyful tone for the rest of the evening.
