Exodus: A Grace-Filled Retreat for Young Hearts

On 1st March, 2026, Don Bosco Youth Services INP, under the loving guidance of Fr. Austin Fernandes, hosted Exodus: The Lenten Journey at Dhyanlaya Monastery of the Immaculate Conception, Curtorim. This wasn't just an event, it was a profound encounter with God, helping youth prepare their hearts for Lent.


The day kicked off with a captivating film on the Book of Exodus. It traced Moses' remarkable path from Egyptian prince to God's chosen liberator, showcasing the plagues, the Exodus, and God's unwavering love. The story hit home: God still calls each of us by name today.

Participants gathered for Holy Eucharist. The homily on Jesus' Transfiguration urged personal change during Lent, not just sacrifices, but stepping into who God created us to be.



Post-Eucharist, everyone received custom booklets with key Exodus passages. Each included simple explanations, life applications, and reflective questions. In quiet moments, we journaled our thoughts, listening deeply to God's whisper.



The afternoon brought a penitential Way of the Cross up the monastery hill. Pausing at each station, we prayed and meditated—the climb echoing our inner spiritual ascent, tough yet transformative.  

We then fellowshipped with the sisters, sharing our stories and learning about their vocation.


 Fr. Austin thanked the sisters for hosting this sacred space. The day wrapped with group photos, smiles, and heartfelt chats. But the real takeaway lingered in our hearts: a personal exodus toward renewal, illuminated by Scripture. This fruitful retreat blended story, prayer, and community igniting Lenten journeys of transformation.

Youth Pasch 2025: Pilgrims of Hope: Rooted in Love and Service

They said, “ Sir, we want to see Jesus. ” We replied, “ Come and See .”  The Youth Pasch 2025, was organized by Don Bosco Youth Services (DBYS), at Don Bosco Sulcorna from 16th April to 20th April. 46 young people, 12 volunteers and 6 animators started the spiritual endeavor with great enthusiasm and hope in the promises of the Lord. The theme for this year, “Pilgrims of Hope: Marching towards the Promised Land,” captured the essence of the spiritual journey undertaken by each young person present. Rooted in the Catholic tradition of the Holy Triduum, Youth Pasch seeks to help participants walk closely with Christ through His Passion, Death, and Resurrection — not merely as a remembrance, but as a lived experience: the personal encounter with the Lord Jesus. A Day of Faith, Fellowship, and Future Vision. The Don Bosco Youth Paschers came together for an unforgettable one-day reunion on May 11th, 2025, at the tranquil Eden Farms in Cuncolim. With over 60 enthusiastic Youth Paschers and dedicated volunteers in attendance, the gathering served as a vibrant platform to rekindle friendships, reflect on their shared mission, and lay the groundwork for the movement’s activities in the 2025–2026 term.
