Christmas Get-Together

On 20th December, the Don Bosco Youth Centre came alive with joy, faith, and togetherness as it hosted a beautiful “Christmas Get-Together” for the youth and the Salesian Cooperators. Around 60 participants gathered to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, making the evening truly meaningful and memorable.

The celebration began at 6:00 PM with a heartfelt prayer led by Fr. Kiran and Fr. Royal, setting a calm and spiritual tone for the evening. This was followed by a serene “Walk in the Light”, symbolizing hope and faith, and a touching worship of the Baby Jesus, reminding everyone of the true spirit of Christmas love, humility, and gratitude.

One of the most moving moments of the evening was the candlelight procession with the Baby Jesus, which filled the atmosphere with peace and devotion. The procession concluded with blessings, leaving everyone spiritually uplifted and thankful for the year gone by.

After the prayerful beginning, the evening shifted into a lively and joyful phase with fun filled activities. Teams were thoughtfully formed by mixing youths and Salesian Cooperators, encouraging bonding and togetherness. The games and activities were enthusiastically conducted by Fr. Royal, Fr. Kiran, Fr. Joseph, and Fr. Roshan.

The activities included quizzes, riddles, puzzle solving, and joyful Christmas carol singing, all beautifully centered on the theme of the Birth of Jesus. Laughter, teamwork, and festive cheer filled the hall, making it a truly enjoyable experience for everyone present.

The celebration concluded with a warm dinner, where participants shared conversations, smiles, and gratitude. Everyone departed around 9:00 PM, carrying joyful memories, renewed faith, and the true spirit of Christmas in their hearts.
