The Bosco Cup 2025 - A Day of Football, Friendship & Youth Spirit

On November 16th, 2025, Don Bosco Youth Centre, Shirva came alive with excitement as we hosted “The Bosco Cup 2025”, a football tournament specially organized to bring together Christian youth from across the region. With 18 enthusiastic teams arriving from both Mangalore and Udupi, the atmosphere was buzzing with energy from the very start


The day began early at 7:15 AM with a meaningful Mass offered by Fr. Kiran Nazareth for all youth and volunteers. It was the perfect start bringing everyone together in prayer and unity. This was followed by a breakfast that fueled us up for the big day ahead.
At 8:30 AM, the inauguration ceremony set the tone for the event. Our Chief Guest for the morning was Fr Royal Fernandes adminstrator of Don Bosco youth centre. With his presence and encouragement, the tournament officially kicked off literally! The first whistle blew, and Bosco Cup 2025 was underway.

 From that moment on, the fields echoed with cheers, team spirit, and thrilling moments that kept everyone on their toes.
 While the teams battled it out on the ground, another team worked just as hard behind the scenes our amazing youth volunteers. From coordinating matches to helping players, every volunteer contributed to making the event smooth and successful.
 The Salesian Cooperators handled the canteen, serving snacks and refreshments to players and spectators. At 1 PM, a delicious lunch was served to all the teams and volunteers, bringing everyone together for a shared break.



After an intense day of matches, the tournament wrapped up around 5:30 PM, with All Stars FC proudly lifting the Bosco Cup 2025 as champions...For the prize distribution ceremony, our evening Chief Guest, Mr. Niel Quadras, joined us to award the winners and appreciate the efforts of every participant and volunteer. The stage program concluded around 6 PM, leaving behind smiles, applause, and memorable moments.

Even after a long and exciting day, all youth volunteers came together one last time cleaning, organizing, and making sure everything was wrapped up perfectly. By 7 PM, everyone headed home with tired feet but full hearts.
   The Bosco Cup 2025 was more than just a tournament it was a celebration of youth, leadership, teamwork, and community. We learned, we worked together, and we created memories that will stay with us for a long time. Here’s to many more events that bring our youth together in spirit and sportsmanship..

Youth Pasch 2025: Pilgrims of Hope: Rooted in Love and Service

They said, “ Sir, we want to see Jesus. ” We replied, “ Come and See .”  The Youth Pasch 2025, was organized by Don Bosco Youth Services (DBYS), at Don Bosco Sulcorna from 16th April to 20th April. 46 young people, 12 volunteers and 6 animators started the spiritual endeavor with great enthusiasm and hope in the promises of the Lord. The theme for this year, “Pilgrims of Hope: Marching towards the Promised Land,” captured the essence of the spiritual journey undertaken by each young person present. Rooted in the Catholic tradition of the Holy Triduum, Youth Pasch seeks to help participants walk closely with Christ through His Passion, Death, and Resurrection — not merely as a remembrance, but as a lived experience: the personal encounter with the Lord Jesus. Don Bosco Youth Paschers Reunion 2025

A Day of Faith, Fellowship, and Future Vision. The Don Bosco Youth Paschers came together for an unforgettable one-day reunion on May 11th, 2025, at the tranquil Eden Farms in Cuncolim. With over 60 enthusiastic Youth Paschers and dedicated volunteers in attendance, the gathering served as a vibrant platform to rekindle friendships, reflect on their shared mission, and lay the groundwork for the movement’s activities in the 2025–2026 term. Led with care and wisdom by Fr. Austin Fernandes, Director of Youth Services, the entire event was carried out smoothly and joyfully.
