Youth Adoration and Inauguration of the New Academic Year

The new academic year of the youth group began with a moment of deep spiritual reflection through a Eucharistic Adoration, held on the solemn occasion of the Feast of Corpus Christi on 22nd June, 2025. The adoration was led by Fr. Kiran Nazareth, who guided the youth into an hour of prayer, silence, and reflection centered on the theme of faith acknowledging and recognizing the importance of the real presence of Jesus in the Eucharist.

The service began at 4:00 PM with hymns and moments of silent adoration before the Blessed Sacrament. Fr. Kiran offered a brief but inspiring reflection on the significance of faith in the lives of young people and how the Eucharist strengthens and sustains us in our spiritual journey. Around 30 youth members participated, spending meaningful time in the presence of Jesus.

Following the adoration, a brief meeting was held to welcome the new members who had joined the group. Fr. Kiran took the opportunity to introduce and explain the 'Salesian Youth Movement (SYM)' and its mission, core values, and how it serves as a dynamic platform for spiritual and personal growth among youth

This was followed by the election of office bearers for the academic year. The youth actively participated in selecting their new leaders who will animate and coordinate the activities of the group throughout the year.

The meeting also included a discussion on the annual plan, during which ideas and suggestions were shared regarding upcoming events, initiatives, and responsibilities.

The day’s programme concluded by 5:30 PM, leaving everyone spiritually renewed and motivated to journey together in faith and fellowship, inspired by the presence of Christ in the Eucharist and the Salesian spirit.
