Three-Day Animation Programme at St. Anthony’s HS, Koliwada, Vasai.

Don Bosco Youth Services conducted a three-day animation programme at St. Anthony’s Convent High School, Vasai, Maharashtra, from 14th July to 17th July. Fr. Austin Fernandes, sdb, the Director of the Youth Services, planned this entire program for teachers

The program was divided into three parts: the first day for the teachers' orientation and the next two days for the primary school animation.

The 28 teachers' Orientation program included how their personality shapes their teaching style and how they could include it in their teaching career, and to build strong bonds with students. The second part focused on their memories of their teachers and what they could learn from their educators. This session had group sharing and understanding each one’s strengths and weaknesses. The third session focused on teamwork, understanding why they are here to teach, what their role is in the mission of the local community, and it was spiced with some creative activities that helped them to work in teams.

The Primary school orientation took place from the 15th to the 16th of July, in which 280 students participated over the 4 sessions. The foucs was on the values that they need to grow up with to be good human beings and good citizens of the country. The sessions were accompanied with the games and learnings.

Youth Pasch 2025: Pilgrims of Hope: Rooted in Love and Service

They said, “ Sir, we want to see Jesus. ” We replied, “ Come and See .”  The Youth Pasch 2025, was organized by Don Bosco Youth Services (DBYS), at Don Bosco Sulcorna from 16th April to 20th April. 46 young people, 12 volunteers and 6 animators started the spiritual endeavor with great enthusiasm and hope in the promises of the Lord. The theme for this year, “Pilgrims of Hope: Marching towards the Promised Land,” captured the essence of the spiritual journey undertaken by each young person present. Rooted in the Catholic tradition of the Holy Triduum, Youth Pasch seeks to help participants walk closely with Christ through His Passion, Death, and Resurrection — not merely as a remembrance, but as a lived experience: the personal encounter with the Lord Jesus. Don Bosco Youth Paschers Reunion 2025

A Day of Faith, Fellowship, and Future Vision. The Don Bosco Youth Paschers came together for an unforgettable one-day reunion on May 11th, 2025, at the tranquil Eden Farms in Cuncolim. With over 60 enthusiastic Youth Paschers and dedicated volunteers in attendance, the gathering served as a vibrant platform to rekindle friendships, reflect on their shared mission, and lay the groundwork for the movement’s activities in the 2025–2026 term.
