Faith Olympics: An Evening of Faith, Fun, and Fellowship

On 17th August, the Don Bosco Animation Center in Benaulim was abuzz with energy and enthusiasm as over 20 youth gathered for the “Faith Olympics”. Organized by the Don Bosco Youth Paschers Movement, this vibrant evening saw games, action songs, meaningful interactions, and group activities all geared toward helping young people grow in their relationship with Christ.  The event began with the participants divided into four teams. Icebreakers helped the youth warm up to each other, setting the tone for a fun and collaborative experience. The opening ceremony featured a symbolic candle-lighting ritual, where a lit candle was passed from team to team. This gesture, reminiscent of the Olympic torch, was inaugurated by Fr Patrick, highlighting how we are called to shine our light and pass on the flame of faith to others. Don Bosco's Konkan Development Society, in collaboration with Fr. Austin sdb, conducted an impactful orientation program at Carmel College for Women, Nuvem. The event was attended by 250 students and was structured to foster engagement, interaction, and personal growth among the participants. The orientation began with an icebreaker activity to create a comfortable and interactive environment. Students were then divided into groups for further activities that facilitated teamwork and collaboration. The program included activities followed by discussions and a session addressing important themes like faith, relationships and the changing trends in relationships, and the impact of social media. By discussing these vital topics, the program contributed to the personal growth and awareness of the participants. The collaboration with Fr. Austin sdb added value to the program.

Marian Night 2025: Walking with Mary in Hope and Faith

The Marian Night took place on 13th August 2025 at Don Bosco School, Oros, and was beautifully hosted by the Youth of Oros and Ranbambuli. The gathering brought together around 82 participants, comprising children and youth from the Kudal Parish, accompanied by priests and nuns, all united in their love and devotion to Mother Mary. The celebration was held under the meaningful theme “Walking with Mary in Hope and Faith,” which guided the spirit of the evening and inspired every activity, prayer, and performance. The evening began on a deeply spiritual note with a solemn procession in honor of Mother Mary. Children, holding lighted candles, walked reverently, creating an atmosphere of devotion and prayer. At the center of the procession, Fr. Paul carried the statue of Mother Mary with great reverence, symbolizing the faith and unity of the parish community. Following the procession, Fr. With Gratitude and Joy: Celebrating the Gift of Priesthood

The Youth of Oros & Ranbambuli, joyfully celebrated the Feast of St. John Mary Vianney, the patron saint of parish priests, on 3rd August 2025 at Don Bosco School, Oros. This special event was organized to honor and appreciate the dedicated priests of the Oros and Pinguli community. The celebration began with a warm welcome extended to all the priests present. As a joyful gesture of celebration, the priests along with the youth members cut a cake together, marking the occasion with smiles, laughter, and shared fellowship. Leha Fernandes, Treasurer of the Youth group, addressed the gathering and shared a few words of appreciation for the priests, acknowledging their tireless service and spiritual leadership. The youth group expressed their heartfelt gratitude through a melodious song specially written by Sharon Fernandes, Vice President of the youth group, which beautifully conveyed their love and respect for the priests.
